FSF Away Fans Survey

The ultimate aim is to improve the away fans’ experience and encourage more fans to travel to watch their team. From this project the FSF will discuss with clubs and the authorities, in an academic fashion, what keeps fans committed to travelling and to the sacrifices they make, what they look for as a travelling fan, their likes, dislikes, and why…

ASTON VILLA MANAGERIAL VACANCY

The AVST wants to thank Rémi Garde for his efforts in his time at the club. Whilst the results have not been good enough, it is hard to think of a Villa manager who has ever been dealt as poor a hand to work with as he was.  We wish him well for the future. Welcome to Aston Villa Rémi Garde

The AVST welcomes the news that our search for a new manager has been concluded with the appointment of Rémi Garde.  Whilst all managerial appointments are a gamble of sorts, this appointment looks forward thinking and his previous work fits well with the make-up of our current playing squad. After the events of recent weeks, it is now vital that everyone starts to pull in the same direction in order that we can quickly remedy our alarming position in the league table.  We trust that…

ASTON VILLA MANAGERIAL VACANCY

The AVST welcomes the news that the Aston Villa board have made a decisive call in ending Tim Sherwood’s time as manager. The intense speculation in recent weeks, and the leaks coming from within, did nothing but turn the club into a figure of media fun. We would like to thank Tim for his efforts last season. He was just what was needed short term to shake us from our malaise under Paul Lambert and gave us some memorable occasions in the FA Cup. We…

Your essential guide on getting to Wembley

The stadium has been labelled as a ‘public transport’ destination, meaning that there is limited parking available at the stadium itself and there is also a residents only parking scheme in operation in the local area. Bookings can be made on the official website www.wembleyofficialparking.com though parking is expensive at £30. However, a more economic option is available via www.justpark.com where you can park for as little as £10 by using a local resident’s driveway. The stadium is well signposted from the end of the M1…
