The Aston Villa Supporters Trust welcome Gerard Houllier to Aston Villa and hope that his knowledge in previous roles as both a coach and technical director will enable him to build on the nucleus of a good team we already have in place at the club.
At the same time we wish to place on record our appreciation of all the work undertaken by Kevin MacDonald since the resignation of Martin O’Neill and hope he continues the excellent work for the reserves and youth team he has undertaken for the previous 16 years, producing a steady stream of home-grown first team talent.
