The Football Supporter’ Federation have organised a football supporter march in London for ‘Affordable Football For All’ next Thursday the 14th August.
Supporters will be gathering at Marble Arch (nearest tube station, unsurprisingly, Marble Arch on the Central Line) from 1pm before heading off to the Premier League and Football League offices at 30 Gloucester Place (W1U 8PL) at around 2:30pm.
A delegation of fans will meet with the authorities, while leaders from a number of supporter groups will address the crowd back at Marble Arch at around 3.30pm.
The AVST will have one of our directors there and there should be some members from My Old Man Said and Brigada 1874 there too. If you can help them represent the Villa get in touch.
There’s quite a few fans from other clubs expected too, including a coach load each of both Liverpool and Manchester United fans. Last year was also a good laugh and an enjoyable afternoon out.
It would be great if you could wear your own club colours and to bring you own banners, flags and plaque cards, although the FSF will have the odd one to hand out on the day as well.
AVST affiliates, please help get the word out to as many Villans as possible to make sure we are represented on the day.
