Next standing for election is Stuart Griffin, who has been an acting director for a few months already in the Communications role.
My name is Stuart Griffin and I am standing for the role of Communications Director. My day job is in the world of fraud investigation for a FTSE 100 company (please don’t hold that against me!) and I have been assisting with the Communications role for a few months now. I am originally from Cheltenham, and was a member of the committee for the Gloucestershire Lions Club, before moving to the West Midlands 20 years ago. I have for a long time been a regular contributor to the Heroes & Villains fanzine and have a great passion for the work of the Trust. If elected, I want to continue the excellent job that the Trust does in its open dialogue with the club, as well as working on growing the membership and having a much closer link with its affiliates. In addition to this, I believe there is much more we can do with social media and to engage the national/local press on Trust initiatives.
