Our third spotlight on the Directors standing for election is the turn of Kris Carr. Kris will be responsible for the area of Community.
Hello, my name is Kris Carr and I am standing for election to the role of Community Director. I am a lifelong Villa fan and have a financial services and recruitment sector background. I strongly believe that the Aston Villa Supporters’ Trust plays a massive part in bridging the gap between our great club and its fans. As a qualified FA coach and having played to a high standard, I take great pleasure in giving back to the sport that has given me so much over the years. The prospect of developing initiatives and delivering them to the wider community is a challenge I find really exciting and a challenge that will be met will real passion, commitment and enthusiasm. I would aim to maximise engagement with the wider community and to contribute greatly to the success of the Aston Villa Supporters Tr’ust. To serve and represent Aston Villa FC, AVST and its community would be a real honour, promoting our proud history and heritage along the way.
