Trust Board Meeting

Minutes from the Trust Board meeting held virtually on 2nd November 2021.

Present: Peter Warrilow (PW), John Taylor (JT), Mo Razzaq (MR), Stephen Morley (SM), Stuart Paul (SP).

1. Not present
   • Apologies – Neil James (NJ)
   • No response – Karl Bowater (KB)
2. Minutes of last meeting
   • Accounts
   • MR Club collect and NJ to provide update on admin support
   • FCG – no date for next meeting – urgent issue of ticket sales and lack of consultation.
   • SM now set-up on Trust email.
3. Finance
   • Current balance at bank £10,838.
4. Socios
   • CEO tried to contact PW.
   • MR liaisiaing with a member who has an interest in Socios.
5. Membership and recruitment
   • Renewals cannot be issued until matter of Club Collect admin is resolved.
   • Impact on membership numbers with no admin support
6. Ticketing
   • Issues to be raised at FCG.Ticketing
   • SM to share article from The Athletic on ticketing policy. Article is excellent summary of supporters’ concerns.
7. FSA
   • PW to contact KB to get an update.
8. AGM
   • PW to contact club about hosting the event.
9. AOB
   •  PW & SP interviewed by Callum Bennett for MSc dissertation “Football is nothing without key stakeholders” – best bit is he describes Villa as one of the biggest clubs in the country – then says Northampton Town and Crystal Palace operating at lower levels!
